Like many other small businesses, All The Frills came about as a little lockdown passion project that got a bit out of hand. I've always loved sewing and when the pandemic came about, I suddenly had a lot more time to put into this hobby. I upgraded my sewing machine and found the perfect scrunchie pattern. Scrunchies have always been a go-to for me when I put my hair up, as I'm not a fan of the pesky kinks and dents left behind from regular hair bobbles.

 

And once I started making them, I just couldn't stop! At first, I shared them with family and friends but eventually I plucked up the courage to start selling them online. Sharing my little hobby with the world was definitely very scary but the support from family and friends was incredible and the orders kept creeping in. I've started to venture beyond the humble scrunchie and I'm excited to grow my little business and share new creations.
